“Letters to Father Jacob” is a sensitive, insightful exploration of the relationship of a pardoned, detached, angry murderer and the blind priest who employs her to read letters and compose responses to those requesting prayers and counsel. These two connect in unexpected, heart-warming ways. There are challenging but also touching scenes in this movie about personal transformation, growth, connection, grace, and reconciliation.

SCHEDULE:
· 6:05 PM SET UP, including food and room.
· 6:30ish PM After setup, EAT, sample Finnish food (Bring some to share.), and mingle.
· 7:15ish PM MOVIE starts, including a 10-minute intermission.
· 8:45 PM DISCUSSION.
· 9:00ish TEARDOWN.
