2022 Fastelavn 

On March 5th, we celebrated Fastelavn with delicious buns, coffee and an assortment of other snacks.  The kids helped prepare the Fastelavnsris for table settings -- branches in vases decorated with feathers.  We sang the Fastelavn song, and then the kids took turns whacking at the barrel.  Katrina, Sean, Henrik and Sigrid enthusiastically helped knock the black cat out of the barrel, and they were rewarded with candy, chocolate and even little stuffed mice.
