Kampen om Tungvannet (The Heavy Water War) -- Norway 2015

Director: Per-Olav Sørensen. 08 Apr Session 2- 2 h 13 m. (English subtitles). 

This movie is one of the most compelling stories of World War II: British intelligence and the Norwegian military are engaged in a heroic struggle to thwart Nazi Germany's atomic bomb ambitions by sabotaging the heavy water plant in Rjukan, Norway.

SCHEDULE:

  • 6:10 PM Social (NEW for in-person event) The group does simultaneous event set-up while socializing and then eats.
  • 6:50 PM Movie start (for all), including a brief intermission during the movie.
  • 9:20 PM Discussion

Like last time, food will include beverages, including coffee, and other goodies, like Swedish meatballs, soup, cheese, sausage, crackers, nuts, popcorn, and desserts!

We will use in-person and Zoom formats to present the movie.
